Is this new search engine even better than Google?

Microsoft has spent years trying to 'out google' Google - now with their new search engine, named 'Bing', they have at least partially succeeded.

To compare the two, visit www.bing-vs-google.com, enter what you are searching for and they will show you both services side by side on the same split screen.

Bing wins on images, but Google has more web searches - although you have to wonder whether a huge number of answers is not too much of a good thing.

Bing has added features, such as related searches, which can be a blessing if you are not quite sure what to enter in the first place or you want to expand your search laterally.

Google has more fun features, like google earth, and more analytical capabilities, such as google alert. It's also been around longer. But it's still well worth trying out Bing which, in some respects, is definitely better and more user friendly.
